| W. Bro's Bill Joughin, Dave Sear and Geoff Waters joined the Remembrance Parade in Barrow in Furness | |
| on Sunday 11th November, Bro Dave Sear WM No 36 laid the wreath on behalf of the Lodge and Mark | |
| Degree. There were many other members of No. 36 at the Cenotaph but with other Organisations. | |
| Bro Dave Caldwell serves with the Coastguard whilst Bro Woods is a member of the British Legion | |
| having been a professional soldier. In the crowd were W Bro Ken Jackson and W Bro John Fairbairn | |
| with their wives. | |
| John Fairbairn laid the wreath last year and followed the example of his Grandfather, who as Town Mayor, | |
| laid the very first wreath when the Cenotaph was Consecrated. | |
| The Parade proceeded to the Cenotaph in bright sunshine, however, at two minutes to eleven the sky | |
| opened and treated everyone to a five minute drenching, the raindrops hitting the microphone sounding like | |
| distant gunfire...eerie | |
